Every week we log sightings which are of interest or which have caused excitment. To avoid disturbance, locations are generally not disclosed. If you spot something of interest on the estate, please let us know and we'll post your observations here.

March 2010
28th March A Great Northern Loon on Loch Sunart, still in his winter coat.
26th March Siskins and Goldfinches beginning to appear in the garden again.
24th March Yellow Hammer at garden feeder, Mingary.
22nd March A rook took up residence at the cottages at Mingary.
21st March 2 Golden eagles soaring over MacLeans Nose.
20th March Grey Wagtails on the shore at Corryvullen.
14th March A buzzard carrying nesting sticks along the shore at Kilchoan ferry.
12th March A Merlin hunting over the fields at Mingary.
8th March 10 x Whooper swans on loch sunart at Mingary castle.
